I still can't upload the former students. I get this error message:

We're sorry, but something went wrong.
We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly.

I am doing it with the same fields, and in the same manner as I uploaded current students. also tried in both firefox, and chrome. using a file creating in excel, and saved as an csv . also tried with as a saved excel workbook file format.

any ideas?

    Keep in mind that there can be no blank fields, so you'll need to ensure that you've designated a program and rank for these individuals even though they are no longer active. You'll also want to make sure you only upload 50 at a time. More than that often causes the system to time out.

    Check with us in the morning if you continue to have difficulty.

    thanks, it could be the number trying to upload at a time. i will try breaking it down to 50 at a time. thanks

    I tried to upload using just fifty, still no luck. same error message. no blank fields.

    Are you saving the file as a CSV file?

    One last thing I would recommend checking is that your Programs and Ranks are listed and spelled EXACTLY the same in both your Kicksite account AND your import spreadsheet. If you've spelled Taekwondo and Tae Kwon Do differently, it will stall the import process.
