Automations

Do you find yourself repetitively contacting students about expired memberships or absences? Well, automations can greatly reduce your workload. Automations are emails that are sent in the middle of the night to your students that fall under certain criteria (i.e. has expired membership). Under settings (top right corner) you will see the link "Automations"---click on it and it will take you to the automation settings page which looks like this:

On this page, you can turn automations on/off and configure when you want notifications sent. You can also customize the body section of the email to your liking. Within the body text area, you will see text that has two parentheses surrounding it. These are "hooks" or snippets of text that will be converted when the email is sent. For example, ((student_name)) will be converted to "John Doe", or ((membership_program)) will be converted to "My Membership Program Name". If you would like to use a hook that is not there, please let us know and we will consider adding it in.

One more thing. You will see on your dashboard next to each item the number of times an automation has been sent. This is good so you don't contact the student when an email has already been sent to them regarding their expired membership, for example. Here is what is looks like:
